Dear procrastinating writers:

How the hell do you do it?

After taking a minor in journalistic class, I think it’s safe to say that being a procrastinating writer sucks.

Yes – it is bad enough to postpone your work, but I think a work that is related to creativity is best not to be held off. Running out of time and ideas is not pretty. You are sitting in front of your computer on a Sunday morning (this is so not based on a real-time reference), forced to face the reality of having to hand in a paper tomorrow when all you have is a blank page. The horror. I’m not saying it’s impossible though, it’s just gonna juice your brain so hard it’s gonna shrink. No, I’m kidding. But really.

So again, as I had previously ranted on my tumblr a week ago or so, I don’t get how writers survive. I mean, do they? Or is it that it might be not that terrible for some writers out there that are blessed with the ability to organise their time very well. Otherwise i can’t imagine how unnerving it is for a writer to have this awful behaviour I somehow manage to keep.

Ok, ‘tis good short break. Gotta shift back to my blank page.
